Open Source in Finance Forum London 2026 - Scholarship Application
The FINOS scholarship program exists to support individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend our events in two categories: Applicants must be from traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized groups in the technology and/or open source communities who are unable to attend without some financial assistance. Including, but not limited to persons identifying as: LGBTQIA+, women, persons of color, and/or persons with disabilities.
Applicants should be active community members or students who are not being assisted or sponsored by a company or organization and are unable to attend for financial reasons.
Registration scholarships are designed to support students and community members who want to attend the event but may face financial barriers. Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary event registration in exchange for volunteering for a minimum of two hours during the event. Volunteer responsibilities may include onsite support roles such as registration assistance, session support, room moderation, and other similar areas. The number of volunteer hours and specific assignments will be determined closer to the event and communicated in advance.
While scholarships are open to all applicants, priority consideration will be given to students.
Scholarship Applications Due: March 22, 2026 (23:59 Greenwich Mean Time)

Travel expenses are not covered under this scholarship type. Scholarships are not transferable to another person or any other event. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. Application information will be kept confidential.
